Properties: Potassium carbonate is an inorganic substance, easily soluble in water, the aqueous solution is alkaline, insoluble in ethanol, acetone and ether. Strong hygroscopicity, it can absorb carbon dioxide and moisture when exposed to the air, and convert it into potassium bicarbonate.

Uses:

1. In the inorganic industry, it is used in the manufacture of potassium sodium tartrate, potassium aluminum fluoride, potassium thiocyanate, and titanium dioxide. The pharmaceutical industry is used in the manufacture of long-acting sulfonamide, progesterone, cortisone, Acor, and estradiol benzoate. The glass lining industry is used in the preparation of enamel powder to enhance its leveling, add it to the glass to play a fluxing role, and improve the transparency and refractive index of the glass. The dye industry is used in the manufacture of indanolin, disperse red 3B, vat ash M, etc. The printing and dyeing industry is used for the printing and dyeing of vat dyes and the whitening of ice dyeing. The rubber industry is used in the manufacture of 4010 antioxidants. The wool and linen industry is used for cotton scouring and wool degreasing.
